Privacy Policy

Who we are

CODE NUTS Software Development LLC is an Egyptian limited liability company (Commercial Register 769832, Cairo Investment) at 1 Mostafa El-Nahaas St., Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. We build our own products, such as Cheques Egypt and SadaBot, and custom systems for businesses.

This policy explains what happens to your details when you use this website. It covers this website only.

Data we collect

Most of what we hold is what you choose to send us through the contact form:

• what your request is about: custom software or one of our products, and the service or product you picked
• where you are with it, if you answer that question
• your name, your company if you give it, your email, and your phone number if you give it
• your message
• that you agreed to this policy, and the language of the page you used

We don't ask for more than we need to reply.

Like most websites, our server also keeps a short technical record of each visit: your IP address and browser type are stored with your session for up to two hours, and our hosting keeps standard access logs. To stop repeated sends from one place, the site also uses your IP address for ten minutes after a send; it isn't stored with your request.

How we use it

We use your details only to answer your request and follow it up: to understand what you need, to call or message you about it, and to send you a proposal or a demo if you ask for one.

Your request is kept in the website's own admin panel, which only our team can open, and a copy is sent to our company email. Sending a request doesn't add you to any mailing list, and we don't use your details for advertising.

Article emails

If you subscribe to new articles, we keep your email address, the language you subscribed in, the page you subscribed from and when you agreed. We use it only to send you new articles. To stop and have your email deleted, write to info@code-nuts.com and we will remove it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

The companies that host our website and our email handle your details on our behalf, only to keep the site and our inbox running. We may also disclose details when the law requires it, for example at the request of a competent authority.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work:

• a session cookie, which keeps the site working while you browse and expires two hours after your last visit to a page
• a security cookie that protects the contact form from forged requests
• a language cookie that remembers whether you chose English or Arabic, for one year

There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. When the chat on the site is SadaBot, it may add its own cookie to keep your conversation open (see below).

The chat and services from other companies

When the chat on the site is SadaBot, our own messaging product, it loads as the page opens. What you write in it is kept in SadaBot so our team can answer you, and it is handled like a request sent through the form.

Other parts of the site connect you to other companies, only when you choose them:

• a project video from YouTube or Vimeo loads only after you press play, and then that service's own policy applies
• the WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, which is run by Meta

Links to our clients' websites take you to sites we don't run.

How long we keep it

We keep a request while we are handling it, and afterwards as part of our business records. If you'd like us to delete your request sooner, tell us and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what details we hold about you, or to delete them. If something you sent us is wrong, tell us and we'll delete that request, so you can send the right details again. Write to us at info@code-nuts.com from the email address you used, so we can be sure the request is yours, and we'll reply from the same address.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
